Slacking while on the job

Since the Hershey Bears / Giant Center are the camera gestapo, my hockey shots went bye bye and I was at a client site all week.  During travelling, it's hard to find much time to do to much beyond eating, sleeping and working so I slacked off until the last day of my trip, here's some of the better results:

I got 2 pics that I really liked, and a bunch that just didn't work but it was a good chance to work in low light with manual focus lenses and "Guesstimate" metering.

Blog Goals

Being inspired by many various people, I'm coming up with a plan to vastly improve my photography by forcing myself to do a set schedule of photos.  This is set as a weekly goal as my work schedule will not allow me to do a daily shot.

Rules:

1. Only one shot per week can be of Audrey or Mica.
2. At least 1 shot per week must have post processing done on it beyond levels.
3. At least 1 shot per week must be wider than 18mm (~30mm 35mm eq )
4. At least 1 shot must be a telephoto 200mm+ (320mm 35mm eq)
5. At least 1 using only ambient light
6. At least 1 shot per week using manual focus
7. Only 2 shot per week using the 24-70mm F/2.8

Goals (In descending order of importance):

1. Average 7 "Good" pics / week
2. Average 1 8x10" worthy of printing pic per week
3. Average 1 potential contest entry per month
4. Get a picture published

The duration of this challenge is February 5, 2011-June 25, 2011.  Rewards if I make my goals?  I don't know, but if I get all of them, I'll treat myself to something nice.... ;)
